God’s will is that no one should perish. He does everything out of unconditional love to reconcile, restore and renew all things to Himself. He is relational, intimate and personal. His saving purpose planned before the beginning of time is to gather together in one all things in Jesus under His rule and reign. In Jesus peace and harmony is restored to the universe.
In Jesus’ earthly ministry the Kingdom of heaven came down into this world damaged by evil. His Kingdom is an eternal kingdom of equality and respect, truth and justice, peace and harmony, restoration and healing, freedom for the captives and liberty for the oppressed. Jesus brings the reality of the Kingdom here on earth into this world damaged by evil.
God’s love
God’s love revealed in Jesus is perfected when we know and experience living in Him. His will is that all who are willing be established in His truth, rooted in His love and filled with His fullness. To know and experience Jesus is to know and experience the living God. It is a daily journey of fellowship with the King of glory who took on human form, who lived, died, rose and ascended on high. To know and experience Jesus is to know God the Father. There is no greater worth than knowing Him intimately and personally. There is no greater experience than living in the power of His resurrection in this world damaged by evil.
When Jesus returns, the fullness of His Kingdom is realised. As a result Heaven and earth will become one and evil will be totally eliminated. Together with God all who received Him will live in a renewed world of love, peace and no evil. The fulfilment of His will for all eternity.
