What is God’s will?

What is God’s will?

God’s saving purpose planned from before the beginning of time is to gather together in one all things, in heaven and earth, in Jesus, under His rule and reign. He does everything out of love to reconcile, restore and renew all things to Himself. He is relational, intimate, and personal.

Therefore in a moment of human history God Himself chose to become the eternal sacrifice, for all the offences of humanity done against God and against each other.

In Jesus’ earthly ministry the Kingdom of heaven came down into this world damaged by evil. An eternal kingdom of equality and respect, truth and justice, peace and harmony, restoration and healing, freedom for the captives, and liberty for the oppressed.

Yet everyone has a choice.

To receive and believe in Jesus and His Kingdom or to reject Jesus and His Kingdom.

Jesus is coming back. When He returns the fullness of His Kingdom will be realised. Heaven and earth become one and evil is totally eliminated.

Those who receive and believe Jesus’ eternal flesh and blood sacrifice will enter into an everlasting state or perfect resurrected bodies. Bodies that never age, never wear out and never die. Together with God humanity will live in a renewed world of love, peace and no evil. The fulfilment of God’s will for all eternity.
